Thanks to the generosity of foundations, companies and individuals, UCR maintains a high level of service and commitment to the Baltimore and Washington, DC. metro areas.

Students are welcome to volunteer with us. Volunteering offers both the residents and staff an opportunity to interact with dedicated and enthusiastic students. These volunteers bring the magic of youth and companionship to the our planned activities.

We have a neighbor-helping-neighbor approach to unite skill and unskilled volunteers from diverse backgrounds with low-income homeowners and non-profit organizations each year. Volunteers are able to make both major and minor repairs and renovations that result in life changing improvements for the homeowners and organizations served.

While we have your attention, we hope you will consider partnering with us in making a real difference in your community. To successfully pull off a vision of this magnitude, we need your help. Please consider volunteering with us.

This is an excellent opportunity to volunteer your time, talents, contacts, or whatever you have and give something back to your community. We can help you find volunteer activities that match your interest, fit into your busy schedule, and are located right in your own community. Everyone is needed and everyone can help from picking up a hammer and helping renovate a home for a homeless person to empathizing with and listening to a Cancer patient.

If you are unable to volunteer, we invite you to make a recurring, honorary, memorial or one-time contribution by credit card or check. Urban City Renewal, is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent provided by applicable law and regulations.
