Urban City Renewal provides affordable Housing.

Urban City Renewal (UCR) creates safe, affordable rental and permanent housing opportunities to individuals with disabilities, homeless, low and moderate-income families. The UCR plan of action is to purchase and renovate single-family properties and apartment buildings in distressed inner-city neighborhoods; preserve them as affordable housing and improve the condition of the properties and subsequently enhance the neighborhoods where the properties are located. This is a necessary investment to revitalize our communities.

Community Development

UCR purchases properties in urban communities. Presently, we are focusing our resources on the Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. communities.

Supportive Programs & Services

UCR believes in self-determination and success by providing training and education to assist with the understanding Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Substance Abuse, Mental Illness, etc. Our Cancer Respite Center will educate, empower, and comfort our guests.

Affordable Housing

Affordable rental and permanent housing linked to health, mental health, employment, and other supportive services - has found to be a proven to be a cost-effective way to end homelessness for people who face the most complex challenges. UCR encourages low and moderate-Income families living in our affordable rental properties and transition themselves into being responsible homeowners.
